Fuel Our Youth is a new charitable foundation, formed to offer a simple and easy way for the older generation to raise money for the benefit of the disadvantaged amongst today’s younger generation.

For those of us in a fortunate enough position to receive and be able to do without the Winter Fuel Payment, Fuel Our Youth represents an innovative way for you to donate the payment, and see the benefits of your contribution help youngsters who believe that their lives are being wasted.

Fuel Our Youth collects donations of Winter Fuel Payment from those that can manage without the payment and passes the money onto UK based youth charities and projects, who really do need it. These charities and projects are involved in supporting young people to develop new skills, benefit from education or training, and to realise their talents.

There are over 13 million people in the UK over the age of 60. The Government currently spends about £2.5 billion on providing over 12 million payments to those who are eligible for Winter Fuel Payment, with no means testing required.

If you are over 60 and don’t need your fuel payment this winter, please put it to good use and help us to realise our vision to help those young people who need our support the most.

For those of you who are over 60 and have never before received the Winter Fuel Payment either because you have only just turned 60, or have not signed up for it in the past, please please consider applying for the payment and donate the money to Fuel Our Youth, so that the youth of today can have a better life and future.
